Volume 4 brings you the last season of the Dead Dog Cafe radio program. As they come to terms with the fact that their grant has run out, get ready to laugh as all the regulars try to figure out what they will do when the doors of the Dead Dog Cafe close.
The Dead Dog Cafe started with Tom King's novel 'Green Grass, Running Water'. The cafe of the book features all sorts of "dead dog" items on the menu, such as the ever-popular deep fried puppy whatnots. This cafe came to life when Kathleen Flaherty (Dead Dog Cafe producer/director) and Tom King got together to think about a short radio series. Tom came up with the idea of running the show from a cafe, with three native characters who didn't know anything about radio. Since the name 'Dead Dog Cafe' did him good service in the novel, he decided to revive it for the radio series. Besides, it's inherently funny.
