Kunzmann is at his best when exploring the culture, ethos and history of South Africa. This is what made his prior "Salamander Cotton" such a fascinating read. Kunzmann continues in this vein with his buddy cop pair, Tsabalala & Mason. A glossary of SA terms would help at times but then again, looking them up on the Internet is also highly educational. |
