More About the Author

During a career spanning three decades, Christian author Scott Moore, B.B.A., M.Div., D.Min. has served as bus minister, children's pastor, youth minister, associate pastor, mission pastor, and senior pastor.

Scott has both written and published seven books with Eleos Press (www.eleospress.com) in just three short years. He and his wife live in Alabama within a short driving distance from their three adult children and four granddaughters.

Dead Ends or Destiny: "The seven people you will meet in the Wilderness. This book consists of seven vignettes describing the lives of seven characters. Each character will teach you lessons you will need in order to survive the Wilderness experiences of your life. They are the evil talebearer, the radical nonconformist, the juvenile delinquent, the overwhelmed pastor, the unwilling immigrant, the lone ranger, and the silent partner. Why will you meet them in that order? They are ranked from the least helpful to the most helpful to you in handling your Wilderness experience. Each one will post his résumé, describe his life, and share his epitaph. They will each issue the same invitation: 'follow me.'"

Partners in Planting: "What would happen if you formed a co-pastoral team consisting of a Spirit-filled "Mary" and a Spirit-filled "Martha?" Could the two polar opposites coexist? Can they effectively work together to start and staff a New Testament church? Join Pastor Sam Anderson (Mary) and businessman Todd Williams (Martha) as they answer these and many other questions."

Rural Pastor's Handbook: A How to Guide for Leading Your Flock: "A companion volume to 'Rural Revival: Growing Churches in Shrinking Communities,' this book is designed to help you, the rural pastor, improve your prayer life and your preaching, grow your church, and deal with the day-to-day opportunities and problems that you will ultimately face."

Rural Revival: "Can rural churches experience significant growth? The answer is a resounding, YES!' This book defines and applies four major factors that distinguish growing churches from the rest of the pack."

Supernatural Strategy: "Have you ever tried to share your faith with an unbeliever? It can be, to say the least, extremely challenging. This difficulty is heightened by the fact that Satan wants to keep people in their unsaved condition. This book has been written to assist the reader in binding the influence of the Unseen Foe and all of the minions of Hell so that he or she can more effectively present the Gospel of Jesus Christ."

The Mystery of Mercy: "Join Samuel "Sam" Anderson in this modern-day fable that includes: church conflict, forced termination of a pastor, and discovery of the true meaning of the mercy of God. With a compelling narrative style of writing, readers are exposed to urgently needed truths in ways that speak deeply to their hearts. In a powerful way, the book "Mercy" helps laypeople and clergy know not only what not to do, but what to do in extending mercy to others. And for those times when hurt occurs, the awesome truth of Romans 8:28 shines bright for those who are wounded and wronged. Above all, this tool helps prevent the bitterness and lasting damage that is always Satan's goal in church conflict."

Uganda's Messianic Muslim: "Nassan Ibrahim, formerly a Muslim, has surrendered his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. He is a powerful preacher of the Word of God. He has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for ministries ranging from a radio station, orphanages for Ugandan children left homeless as a result of AIDS, constructing church buildings, and sponsoring the ministries of other Ugandan pastors."

This book was recommended to me during a very difficult period in my life. It really made me think about who I am and who I wanted to become... and that is a person who truly relies upon the Grace of God, who trusts God in everything. This books gives an overwhelming abundance of insight into the ways of the just and unjust throughout the Israelites journey to the Promised Land. As Christians, we too are on that journey. The readability of the book is excellent and easy to comprehend. I would recommend this book to anyone who is truly interested in living a Christ-centered life that focuses on God's principles.

Dr. Moore has once again created a work worthy of distributing to the masses of us who need guidance and support in these days of indecision and confusion.

"Dead Ends Or Destiny" uses allegory as well as concrete concepts to prove that God is out there available to help not only the Christian, but also any other
faith, culture, or belief that asks for His help and mercy.
