Author Comment,
This review is from: The Dead Farmer's Almanac (Kindle Edition)
Hi this is the author, I don't mean to review my own book but a star rating was required to post here. I wanted to give a shout out to Xlibris for finally making this ebook edition available. There was a lot of reader interest in The Dead Farmer's Almanac when it was originally published 10 years ago. People have a fascination with unusual weather patterns such as the recent hurricanes (Irene) and earthquakes on the east coast.
This novel is based on actual military research, so it is as much fact as fiction. I would enjoy hearing more reader comments and reviews. I am considering publishing other titles and creating a new genre of weather-related fiction. Jim Larranaga

This review is from: The Dead Farmer's Almanac (Paperback)
A fast moving sci-fi(?) adventure of a courageous newspaper man battling for his life and to reveal the truth. A once big time investigative journalist, Eddy Osland just wants to run a small town newspaper and enjoy his family, but as he investigates a mysterious accident he is drawn into a life or death struggle he never would have anticipated. A relatively thin book, it still covers a lot of territory and introduces quite a cast of interesting characters. The action is fast and relentless, and the story never lets up from the very first page until the very last.
