I'm a huge Miranda Lambert fan. I saw her perform this song in concert and she announced that she'd written it herself. And I love this song...provided I don't listen too closely to the lyrics.
"I feel like this long string of lights. They lit up our whole house on Christmas day. Now it's January and the bulbs have all burned out. Still they hang...like dead flowers." Still, good melody, nice buildup on the chorus. You'll find yourself singing the lyrics anyway.
