"Dead and Gone" is an interesting collaboration between rapper TI and R&B/neo-soul/former boy band singer Justin Timberlake. It's a melancholy song,a meditation on death and conflict. TI reflects on the gang warfare in his life,and the heartbreak it's caused. It's not the usual flaky pop song. There's some cussing (that's expected),but it's got a memorable melody,and the chorus is powerful. "Dead and Gone" won't be dead and gone anytime soon.

You know, I have never been a huge fan of TI but this song is just awesome. I could listen to it like 10 times in a row. I really enjoy it, Justin Timberlake is pretty rad in this song! Very nice.

When you listen to the song, you can completly tell that rap does not sound good with Justin Timberlake's singing. I really like it when Justin sings his part of the song. I like the song, I mean if you could give these reviews 4 and a half stars,(witch you probally can, I just don't know how to) I totally would. My point is, I think rap and R+B should have a distinction, you know, in diffrent songs, that's all. Awesome song though!!
