I enjoyed reading this book very much. This is a topic that I have grown an intrest in since my husband died two years ago. We had been married fiftythree years and were real soul mates so it was really tough just surviving without him for quite awhile. This book helps to give me hope that maybe he really is still near me and I'm not all alone after all.
If you beleive in Mediums I think you will find this book very enjoyable to read.

The Other Side can be fun,
This review is from: Do Dead People Walk Their Dogs?: Questions You'd Ask a Medium If You Had the Chance (Paperback)
As a medium and author, I found Concetta Bertoldi's book funny, enlightening and true. The Spirit World is not dire and dark; rather it's light and funny at times. We speak with them as we would with any living person. Their personalities come through loud and clear as well as their opinions. How else would we be able to recognize them? The irreverant way in which Concetta communicates with them is the way she would communicate with the living. The way it should be. They do come through in love to heal and help, but they also want to bring laughter and joy to all of us. A great quick read that answers so many questions that my clients and friends ask me every day!

I love Concetta's style of writing. She is very personal with her own life and yet too the point. If you are looking for a good introduction as to how a medium works and some good spiritual insights, this one is for you.

A Very Complex Topic,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Do Dead People Walk Their Dogs?: Questions You'd Ask a Medium If You Had the Chance (Paperback)
My mom found this at the library and said it looked like something I'd like, since I've always been curious about the spiritual side of our world, and an actual ghost lives in my house, though we deem him as a good guy.
It was totally engrossing; I had never heard of her or the first book until I found this one, and I'd like to get my hands on the other one as well. First of all, it's a very interesting topic. Technically, as a Christian, I'm not supposed to have anything to do with books like these, but I pushed that aside when I devoured this book in less than a day. Some of the questions were boring, so I skipped to the best ones, and I have to say, this book literally is changing me. I can't say she made me a believer, since I already believe in God, but the things she confirmed sorta haunt me: like pets do go to heaven, there's no food there, if you kill someone the gate is locked to you, and, basically, that there is indeed a world of perfection for us after we die. It was a very easy, humorous read. The author has got a great personality, and I enjoyed most of it. But it disturbed me as well. I mean, she talked as if reincarnation was real. Is it? That scares me, because really I just want to die and go to heaven forever, not be reborn. It brings up terrifying questions about who I am, how many times I've died, if I've married by brother's soul in a past life... and it's all so complicated and confusing. Everyone else seemed to miss this, because no one else mentioned this. Please, please, please, someone comment and try to explain to me, because this is truly frightening me.

I read both of her books. I have to say I think I liked the first one better, but I this one is good too. Easy reading. Some of the things she says are hard to grasp..but still overall a very intresting book. Worth a read!

I'm not saying this is a bad book, but I felt the first one, "Do Dead People Watch You Shower" was more satisfying. I like the format, but I guess the questions weren't the ones I wanted answers to.
If you enjoy reading about the other side, you'll probably like it. But I'd recommend getting it from the library.

This author has a unique writing style, not only witty, but humorous and informative as well. This is a wonderfully written book offering insight to any non-believers out there, that there truly can be 'life beyond death'...at least in a sense unfamiliar to most of us today. This was a very easy-to-read book, both laid back and comfortable in its' content. I know the potential to 'not put it down until done' definitely existed...because that's exactly what happened to me!

Interesting Read,

This is an interesting read and an easy read. Who really knows what's on the other side or if we can really connect with them. But it's fun to ponder over these things and wonder what if. I would use the info in this book much like I would use my horoscope.
