Small Brown Bike-- enough said!, June 4, 2001
This review is from: Dead Reckoning (Audio CD)
This album is a great follow up to their "Our Own Wars" album which is equally great. Although the lyrics on this album are more in depth with the lyrical side of SBB, and they say things in such an awsome way that just drills into your head.Every song is a story in it's owm. If you havn't heard "Our Own wars" I strongly reccomed you get it too.Bottom line is that Small Brown Bike is an awsome band, and they keep comming out with great stuff, hints why I am writing this review, to let you know and everyone else have a taste of what your missin.I personally recomend that you at least review some tracks off of the "Dead Reckoning" album, which I just recieved in a very cool pink ane yellow vinyle from No Idea records.

Great album, solid and interesting., March 28, 2010
This review is from: Dead Reckoning (Audio CD)
This album was my introduction to Small Brown Bike. Since then I have purchased other releases and continue to be a big fan.
What I like most about this album is the dynamics of the verse/chorus structures along with some unconventional rhythm thrown in to keep the ears attentive.
I moved to Michigan in 2005 with high hopes of finding other band with a similar sound. I have yet to find any. Guess it's up to me to get something started I guess.

buy it now, April 25, 2002

This cd kicks..., the whole thing is so powerful, a most worthy follow up to 'our own wars' and 'collection' which are also amazing. highlights off this include 'see you in hell','my own disaster' and, forget it the whole album is awesome. Fans of this should check out 'I hate myself' and 'keleton DMD' whose EP has just been released on Makato records who released a split between SBB and cursive, the first in a series of 7" singles that are bound to be great
