I've never felt compelled to write a product review until now. I've had eczema on and off for years now, and have tried everything: Eczema Oil, Cortaid (and similar hydrocortisone products), homeopathic treatments, thrice-daily lotioning, even coconut oil, and nothing has worked. Then one day I went on a trip to Hawaii, where I spent almost every day swimming around in the sea. My skin thanked me the whole time.

Upon return, I soaked in a Dead Sea bath to try to replicate the ocean in my bathtub, and immediately noticed results. I'm so happy to have found this cure without having to resort to artificial drugs, colors, or fragrances. And being able to buy in bulk is a plus! Seriously, I'm ecstatic. I even blogged about it, to the confusion of my friends. If you're suffering from chronically dry skin like me, I highly recommend you give sea salt a try.

Psoriasis has been a serious problem for my husband for many years now. He has really suffered from it, not just physically, but psycologically as well. These salts are the first thing that really helped him and have made it almost go away completely. He's had everything prescribed from steroid creams to emu oil, and many others, but nothing, nothing has helped the way these salts have. After he used them for a couple of days and we noticed the difference, I went online and read up a bit about them and it seems there is a scientific reason for this. But believe me after the stuff he had to take as pills and steroid creams that didn't work when we have something natural like this that actuall works we are sticking to it. I know it's good for skin in other ways too, but we are just happy that he can wear a short sleeve shirt in peace now.

I'm happy with the Dead Sea Salt Bulk Bath Salts--20 pounds. The salt dissolved quickly and completely in the warm bath water.

Be aware that the product will not look quite like the photo. The actual salt grains are fairly coarse, and they vary in both size and in color; some are quite dark. Also, from reading the description of this product, I was under the impression it was scented, however, it is not. I will add my own essential oils or bubble gel to the bath.
