Awful.,

This review is from: Dead Sexy: A Novel (Hardcover)
I didn't think it was possible for a book filled with such clichés and ridiculous plot lines to actually be published. The over-verbalization of every sentence is painful to read and distracting from the story itself. Example: "Lust jitterbugged in her gusset". Seriously, what? When I first picked it up, I thought it had actually potential. Admittedly it had a few laugh out loud lines but generally that was ruined by the unrealistic interaction between the characters and the storyline that even the writers from Passions would scoff at. The ending itself caused me to throw the book across the room in utter astonishment that someone had taken the time to edit, publish and market. This is possibly the worst book I have ever read.

Worth less than one star,

I picked up this book after searching for hours at the bookstore. I wanted something light and fun to read after oral surgery. Plus it was on the Bargain Table (now I know why). Reading the back of this book, I thought it might fit the bill. Needless to say, I'd rather sit through more mouth surgery than read this drivel. Awful! The book reads like it was written by a 12 year old. I was so bored and disgusted that I put this book down after just a few pages and stred out a window for awhile (that was more entertaining than the book!) Run from this book!

Just finished reading "Dead Sexy" and then checked the reviews. I was surprised. All right, it was a little wordy in a silly way; but it did have interesting twists. It was funny, and clever.

I decided to read this book after reading Kathy's new book, 'To love, honour and Betray' - I should not have bothered.I probably should have read the reviews here first. This book is so very silly, it is full of sarcastic and convoluted sentences, main characters that you never bond with and silly plot lines. I will probably try some of her other books after I can forget about this one!.

This book kept me laughing about til about half way through and then even though it was sort of a cliche' about men and women..I had to see how it ended. Happily of course as all romance type novels should. There were a few erotic moments just to keep you hooked. I'd say all in all it's a great book for a day in the sun. Not Shakespeare but entertaining nonetheless.

The plot seemed neat enough, and I thought it would be really good based on that fact, but I was seriously wrong. I didn't even finish the book it was so terrible. I read to chapter 4 in the hopes it would get beeter, but it didn't. It was super confusing with all the verbiage used. It was just too hard to follow along with the sentences with all the superfluous stuff going on. I can't beleive that people actually liked this book! I'm so glad I only checked it out from the library and didn't have to pay even a penny for this one!
