The 'Black Sabbath' of thrash metal?...decades of agression? If you don't believe me, Google it and see them live circa 2014 and if they don't sound every bit as energized and frenetically brutal as the mid-eighties...some may say the absence of founding members detracts from what the band is now but if you ask me, the spirit is alive and well in the flawless execution of these classic songs and killer riffs. Do you think Metallica brings this same energy to the table night in and night out as Slayer still does? I'm not bashing metallica here, I'm just comparing one fantastic band to another (both of whom have been around since the eighties, lost founding members and well...aged). This song is emblematic of all of these qualities and just so much more...this was slayer in their creative prime, when just their name alone would elicit cries of fear from mothers and shudders from religious types who was convinced this band was the devils gateway to enlisting a new generation of souls down to hell. I go on, but trust me, if you want a good idea of who slayer is, just listen to this four and a half minute time capsule of unadulterated anger and tell me slayer shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as some of metals most iconic bands of all time.

For some reason, I went into my itunes and found 3 Slayer songs were gone. I have no reasons as to why this happened. Luckily I had some free Mp3 dollars here and was able to pick up all three songs to complete my discography once again. Slayers a great band that really shows amazing resolve to last as long as they have. They've also proven that they aren't afraid of, nor unable to, change/adapt their sounds throughout this passage of time.

Out of all the Slayer songs, it is hard to choose but I rank this one in the top 5 ever.
