This album is an unappreciated landmark. I had the pleasure of seeing the Legionnaires while they were touring in support of this record and it was the most amazing live show I've ever seen. They were unique, included audience participation (they handed out noisemakers at the beginning of their set), and in general, rocked my damn socks off. Three years later, I put on their record and every time am blown away. This is a CD that can be listened to hundreds of times (as I'm sure I have) and still discover new and exciting things about it. No section of a song is ever repeated, all songs move linearly and never double back, always progressing. As the title suggests there is no dead time on the album, the space in between songs is tastefully filled with short experimental pieces. I could go on for several days explaining how excellent this CD is but i will suffice to say that it is the single most intricate, interesting, inspiring piece of rock music I have heard. ever. listen, be changed.

This is an amazing disc and showcases Panoply at their absolute best thus far. I agree fully with the reviewer before me. I, too, have listened to this disc over and over again... with Disc Repeat on. Art Rock or Post Punk... call it what you will. I love Zappa, At the Drive-In, Danielson Familie... and the warbling Panoply Academy is all this and more crammed into one band.
