It holds a hammer. Enough said. Plus Dead On has the coolest logo out there. Only time will tell as to its durability.

I recently picked up a Dead On DOS22M 22Oz Framing Hammer at the local Menards. I'd been spying it for a while and it finally went on sale, so I snagged it. I already owned their Abyss nail pouch, which has a nylon sleeve-style hammer holder, but not one worthy of such a bad ass hammer as the DOS22M. This is the hammer holder you need for something like that. The hammer hangs low, but not as low as it would on a tool pouch, which can sometimes put it out of easy reach. The material, while tough, remains flexible, this lets the weight of the hammer keep itself seated in the holder, even when you're moving around at odd angles. Stiffer hammer holders ride right at the beltline, and move with you, which can make the hammer move enough to work its way loose. That scenario isn't impossible with this, but its much less frequent.

I was surprised by the size of the thing, the picture doesn't depict just how large it is. I'll try to post some of my own pictures of it later to give more sense of scale.

If you have a dead-on hammer, or any other DO tools, this is worth the (cheap) cost. And once you own a few Dead Ons, you wanna get them all, they're just that cool :)
