4.0 out of 5 stars Broaden your Horizons!, July 30, 2002
This review is from: Dead Voices on Air Versus Not Breathing ... A Fire in the Bronx Zoo (Audio CD)
This isn't your average cd, don't expect to find it on any radio or music tv stations because this cd doesn't contain songs or music. Their are 8 tracks of sonic soundscapes and soundeffects.

It can't be pigeonholed into any-one genre either. In stages it reminded me of Lustmords Stalker socre but it was to layered to be identified as Ambient yet also to sparse to be an industrial techno lp. Its also very dark and haunting and in certain cases descends into out and out chaos.

On the downside there aren't enough tracks and there is a noticeable lack of low-frequency drones (also apparant on the Lustmord cd). The penultimate track is the most easy to identify with becasue it sounds like a sparse industrial techno track otherwise the rest need time (preferably at night with the lights out).

Buy this cd if you want to broaden your musical horizions, or if you want to listen to something that 99% of people can't understand and appreciate. Other cds to check out are all on an aCE norweigan record co. called jester (jester-records.com).
