A full moon hangs high in the sky. Its brilliant glow is obscured by an occasional cloud drifting lazily across it, casting shadows upon shadows inside a small graveyard located in a remote, pine thickened forest deep in East Texas.
Headstones of various shapes and sizes can be seen in the reflection of the intermittent moonlight.
A light breeze whispers through the trees, gently rustling the the pine needles.
Dead leaves tumble across the ground, some coming to a rest in piles of soft, loose dirt strewn around what appears to be a recently disturbed grave. The name on the modest headstone reads, Clyde Watkins.
Inside the grave is a casket, its lid open, void of any contents.
A man draped in a mixture of dense light and shadows moves slowly from the grave's edge. A blank, meaningless look fills his face as he walks into the blackness of the heavily wooded area beyond the graveyard and disappears.

Suspense-filled horror,
By A Customer
This review is from: Dead Walk (Paperback)
Really enjoyed this author's latest book. Had to stay up late at night to finish it - couldn't put it down! The author has a great ability to make you really care about the characters she writes about. An easy-reading book; not too short or too long, but leaves you wanting for more!
