Gary - I have to say, I dearly LOVED the first Deadlands you did. Even with a lower budget, I watch that thing over and over. It just srikes the nerve where I like it stuck, you know? I waited and waited , then waited, for your sequal. To be honest I'm not that crazy about this one, even though it is obvious lots of work went into it and lots of plot development. The media used for filming is grainey and stark - almost like the lighting was not right, and the lense compensated by over grain pixelation or if was done in the final cut when you maybe tried to increase the visibility? It just failed to have the "coming to get you Barbara" groove that the first one did. I hope you will take this in the manner it was intended and I hope this one does well enough that you look into keeping it up - but I would provide my opinion (as the one buying it with no idea of the hassles of actually MAKING a movie - so for what my thoughts are really worth) that if you do, you harken back to the things about the first Deadlands that made that such a winner of a first film.

Good zombie film, great effects, good acting for the most part and over all very enjoyable to watch. Happy with purchase.

I read the review of this product and I was informed that Deadlands Two is better than Deadlands One. The first Deadlands went nowhere and was too short, so it had to be somewhat better. If you like lowbudget Zombie flicks, the film is menza menz! The dialogue at times is dumb. The reasoning by the characters regarding how to escape their plight could have been written better. The acting id so-so and the storyline so-so. Purchase this if the price is not too extensive. But do not expect a whole lot, so you won't be disappointed.

Great movie, it's a "independant release" that was really fun and original. Had a friend in the movie so, I'm partial.
