Uninteresting crime reports!,
This review is from: Deadlier Than the Male: Stories of Female Serial Killers (Paperback)
One would have thought that a book relating the crimes of nine female serial killers would have to be fairly gripping. Wrong! This book reads like a homework report. The majority of the murderers have similar MO's. Mainly poisoners & baby stranglers from abused childhoods & total losers in the lottery of life. Not really sure what the author hoped to achieve here, but this was a wasted effort, at least as far as this reader was concerned.

This book, "Deadlier Than the Male : Stories of Female Serial Killers" was absolutely fantastic! It described the backrounds, crimes, and lives of nine of the world's most famous female serial killers! Even though I saved the book (and put it on my "favourite books" shelf) to read again and again, I am not sure if I'll ever forget the chilling stories told in this book. I couldn't stop reading it for hours! It took me only 3 days to finish this 372 page book! And man, is it worth reading!!!!!!

BOOOO! That is the phrase I would use to describe this poor excuse for a book. One would expect that a book on this topic would be somewhat interesting, but I found it monotomous and boring.
