another year and again these guys have done another amazing job.the camera guys to have pulled out there courage to excell in making this a series that i'm hooked on.
cant wait now each year for the next series to come out . boats -rough seas -terrible weather- fun -excitement -some edge of your seat type entertainment if this is your cup of tea then i highly recommend this whole series.

I have really enjoyed all the season's of this show and was please to find a copy on Amazon.com. I know the two captains of the Time Bandit. My son grew up with them when we lived in Homer, Alaska so that makes the series even better. I purchased this for my best friend who lives outside of Homer and who does not get the series because of lack of cable in her area. Both of us knew Russel, Eddie, Josh - in fact all of the crew. She has a treat in store for her. Thanks to Amazon for carrying this DVD.

We have all the seasons! To see the changes from season one to 5 is great. Looking forward to season 6 on DVD. The only drawback is you have to press play for each chapter. We bought this for our son who is not capable of pressing play and I keep this season at home so someone is always there to forward the next chapter. They should have made is continuous like the previous seasons. GREAT series.

This is one of the best shows ever!!!! It just gets better as the Seasons go along!! Once you start watching, you will be hooked!!!

Season 5 is by far the best season of the dealiest catch. With even more constant action and drama that leaves you hanging from you seat! It contains footage of the most epic weather to ever hit the bering sea while the boys of the deadliest catch once again battle it out. Also some more heart stopping action of the life saving rescues from the coast guard. Even people who've never watched the show before will become loyal fans. It's MUST see!

I Can't wait til the six season is released!

I started watching "Deadliest Catch" during their third season. I saw the episode where Jonathan pulls the man out of the water and was hoooked on it since. I have all the first four season, and saw part of this season on youtube. However, the person who posted them missed much of the season. So, I ordered it on dvd and quite amazed at how things have changed over the past few years. However, it was a real tragedy to hear that Capt. Phil Harris passed away. My heart goes out to his family. I am curious to see who takes over his boat and to find out what happens in season six.

My son is 8, and he is obsessed with The Deadliest Catch. We bought this season for him for Christmas, and ended up giving it to him early! The new packaging format is awesome too. We have all purchased all the previous seasons, and this season is so much slimmer than the others. We enjoyed the numerous episodes of After The Catch as well. This is a must have for all nature lovers! I also ended up purchasing Season 6, so I know I will have a happy little man on Christmas morning! One more thing, Amazon has the best prices on this series that I could find. Definately a good buy!

Been a fan of the show since day one, being a lobstermans wife and having worked on the boat I LOVE this series, and Amazon has the best prices, now I can watch all the shows in case I missed anything when I want, you cant get one season without buying the others, and after awhile you feel as though you know these people, nice to get a glimpse of life on the Bering Sea

Season five was excellent, and I'm so looking forward to the release of Season six. Discovery Channel does an excellent job with this series...never letting it reduce itself to the normal catty level of many "reality" shows. Real men, doing real jobs and all that goes with it. I feel like I am a part of their families!

There are two great shows on television right now: DEADLIEST CATCH and WHALE WARS. This DVD set is better and richer in terms of features than WHALE WARS, altough I think CATCH has gotten a bit repetitive. Still, a great, entertaining show!
