This review is from: The Deadliest Stunt (Hardy Boys: Undercover Brothers, No. 13) (Paperback)
"The Deadliest Stunt" is installment number thirteen in the latest reincarnation of the Hardy Boys, a favorite adventure detective series for generations of American grade school boys. The series is in graphic novel format, with exciting art work and updated storylines.
In this story, brothers Frank and Joe are assigned by American Teenagers Against Crime (ATAC) to protect another agent, stunt woman Lindsay Rider, against one of her competitors in a stunt exhibition, who might also be a diamong smuggler. Male egoes are bruised as Frank and Joe have a hard time adjusting to their back up status on this case. They have an even harder time figuring out who the bad guys are, as the stunt competition heads to a deadly climax. "The Deadliest Stunt" is a good story for our high school heroes, who learn a couple of lessons about misdirection and about girls along the way. It is highly recommended to fans of the Hardy Boys graphic novels. |
