If you've ever wanted to get in shape quickly but not with some silly or harmful gimmick, Gina is the expert in "leaning out". This term much more accurately describes what happens to your body on her program than merely "losing weight". It is not easy at first, but the quick results will inspire you to keep up the healthy (and portion-controlled) eating as well as the challenging workouts! Gina is the best!

I can highly recommend this book because Gina Lombardi gets results! She helped me lose 40 lbs. so I went from a size 16 to a 6! She taught me so much about nutrition and exercise in such simple, easy-to-understand terms -- with easy-to-follow methods. This lady knows her stuff. Check out her book and start losing now!

I purchased Gina's book about a month ago, read thoroughly, and then got started. So far, I have lost 6 lbs. I want to lose about 20 more, and I feel confident that I can achieve it with this plan. I am having a bit of a hard time with the food calculations, but there is plenty of assistance to be found on the website, (it is just me, I am not a math-y person...normal people can do it easily!) or you can e-mail and an answer will be yours. The book is very personable, and easy to understand. The exercises (I use the ones without equipment) don't look hard, but let me tell you, trust Gina when she says not to do them two days in a row...you are very tender. The digital scales are a must. My self esteem is rising - the sky is the limit - thank you, Gina :)

Gina Lombardi has earned the reputation in Los Angeles as the go-to coach and trainer for show biz performers who need to shape up fast for upcoming appearances and projects. In Deadline Fitness the author reveals all of the secrets in a healthy approach that gets quick results. As a wellness coach, I appreciated her scientific approach to the whole topic of fitness. The author clearly has advanced knowledge and professional experience in diet and nutrition but avoided explanations that could easily confuse or bore the reader. It's all dropped in the reader's lap in a simple and easy to understand way. In fact the entire book has really advanced information about the whole topic. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about exercise but Gina Lombardi opened my eyes to routines that have supercharged my workouts and allowed me to get more done in less time without ever falling into the same-old-same-old rut. This book would deserve praise by being distinguished simply as a guide to achieving fitness and weight loss goals in a short amount of time. But the author does not stop there. The final chapter introduces the keys to maintaining your "new body for life." Again, Ms. Lombardi teaches the reader to know the numbers and how to calculate the number of calories needed per day to maintain your new weight based on activity level. I can't think of anyone who is interested in dropping weight and toning up who would not find this book valuable and enjoyable to read.

Gina puts together sound research with practical application and comes up with a winning combination.

I grew up an athlete but have become the stereotype of a "jock" who let himself go. I've got a lot of weight to lose-but I know with Gina's plan I will be able to lose it. With Gina's approach I'm motivated and have a specific plan and goals.

In addition to the sound research and data Gina's humanity shows in her writing style. What I mean is she is authentic in her approach and that makes you feel like she cares about your progress-which she does.

She offers precise formulas, practical exercises for a variety of settings, and sound nutrition information to get you on track to a fit and healthy way of life.

I was curious about whether deadline fitness could work-she shows that it can by helping you set specific deadlines for changing your behaviors from unhealthy to healthy. If you've got a week-she has a plan for a week, if you've got a month, that's there too-several options exist and they all add up to making better choices.

If you'd like a comprehensive approach that doesn't make you feel like you're overwhelmed-then please get a copy and start your road to wellness.

Gina is the first author who has written a book for me. I am a busy mom, with two young children, working and in OK shape. I didn't need a big change that was going to overhaul my entire body and life (but her book can do that for you, too), instead, I needed a book that can help me loose those last five pounds and tone up a body that never quite recovered from pregnancy. Gina's book has multiple plans and I am sure one of them will suit you. Her book motivated me and had me thinking of my diet in a new way. I wasn't forced to give up foods forever, rather implementing portion control or adding some more protein to my diet really helped. I enjoyed the book so much I am buying additional copies for my mommy friends who are in the same boat as me.

I'm enjoying the book. It is such an easy read. The down-to-earth language makes it so simple to apply some basic, but revolutionary methods to healthy living. I believe I am seeing immediate results. Most people do not finish the books they start, because somewhere along the way the author loses the reader. Gina keeps you coming back for more and feeds it to you in sizable chunks to reinforce the belief - this is working... The road is paved, you chose your deadline, and Gina accelerates your Fitness Achievement. Great Work~!

I highly recommend Deadline Fitness to anyone who wants to lose weight, get in shape, and feel better about themselves. Gina is such a positive person. She makes you feel motivated and good about yourself. She allows you to set realistic goals. Finally, someone is reaching out to the average person offering help that lots of us have been looking for! This book is a MUST HAVE!

This book is what we've all been waiting for! Gina has put together all the tools you need for success in a very easy to follow, informative format.
Not sure how to do an exercise and for how long? There are pictures of each one, along with different levels of difficulty.
Get stumped on what foods to eat while trying to eat healthier? She lists tons of options, along with what type of food it is( healthy fats, starchy vegetables, etc).
And the best part? She splits the weight loss/shape up chapters by months( or weeks) so you can just stay in one place without flipping back and forth! It just does not get easier than that!
All you need is the will and the desire, and Gina will hold your hand through each of the steps.
Finally!!! A program that truly works!
