This book of highly personal, highly stylized poems will delight those who revel in the written word. Jordan's subject matter veers from solitude to madness, from childbirth to death. Her love for the classic traditions of poetry is very present. Read her book and be inspired!

These poems engage the real world through heightened observation and explore the depths of the those otherworlds that exist at the edges of perception (or the wings of a bird), linking both to a personal mythology that is fascinating.
Complex and stunning use of both the music of words and the silences between them. Highly recommended! |
