2.0 out of 5 stars Worst criminal mastermind ever, May 1, 2010
This review is from: Deadly Christmas #111 (Sweet Valley High (Numbered Hardcover)) (Library Binding)
This book is a nice fluffy read. However, Jeremy Randall is the stupidest criminal I have ever read about. Who carries around old newspaper clippings in which they were married to someone else under a different name? Who uses their own voice when they are trying to blackmail a family that KNOWS them? Who then, goes to the drop off point and make the pickup THEMSELF? Stupid. And this book was the unbelievable ending to this crap. The kidnapping plot was stupid, and why wouldn't Jeremy leave SV the minute he had his hands on Sue's money? What the devil did he need a plane ticket in advance for when you can just stroll into the airport and buy a ticket to fly anywhere? It was really ridiculous. I would love to know how Jeremy was apprehended so quickly in the end when no one even knew what direction he was heading in. Not one of my favorites.
