New York Times and USA Today best selling author, Heather Graham was born somewhere in Europe and kidnapped by gypsies when she was a small child. She went on to join the Romanian circus as a trapeze artist and lion tamer. When the circus came to South Florida, she stayed, discovering that she preferred to be a shark and gator trainer.

Heather is the child of Scottish and Irish immigrants who met and married in Chicago, and moved to South Florida, where she has spent her life. (She has, at least, been to the Russian circus in Moscow, where she wished she was one of the incredibly talented and coordinated trapeze artists.) She majored in theater arts at the University of South Florida. After a stint of several years in dinner theater, back-up vocals, and bartending, she stayed home after the birth of her third child and began to write. Her first book was with Dell, and since then, she has written over one hundred and fifty novels and novellas including category, suspense, historical romance, vampire fiction, time travel, occult, horror, and Christmas family fare.
She is pleased to have been published in approximately twenty-five languages, and has had over seventy-five million books in print. She has been honored with awards from Walden Books, B. Very scary with lots of twists and turns!,

This second novel in the Flynn Brothers Trilogy brings in Rowenna who is a good friend of Kendall Montgomery Flynn from the first novel. Kendall and the oldest brother Aidan Flynn are now married and live at the family house outside New Orleans. Rowenna is returning to her home town of Salem, Massachusetts at the behest of a police office friend of hers. Rowenna has helped the police in the past as she seems to be able to put herself in a victim's place and feel what they felt. Jeremy Flynn, an ex-police officer, has been asked by his friend and ex-partner to come help him find his wife who disappeared from a cemetery in Salem.
As Jeremy and Rowenna follow clues and dreams their own way, something more sinister is happening in the town of Salem and almost everyone is a suspect. I enjoyed the mystery but felt that Jeremy and Rowenna's romance was very contrived. As a reader, I didn't feel that they really knew each other or had that "chemistry" and there they were going to bed together already! I give the book 5 stars for the mystery and 3 for the romance so a 4 star review.

I read the first in this series and wanted the rest. However after beginning the second I could not continue reading it. It did not hold my attention as other novels of this genre do so I gave up on the series.

This book is the second in the series and I actually had to force myself to finish it. Graham is usually good for a gasp or two but this one was completely lacking. It reads just like all her other paranormal books. If paying a slight bit of attention to the plot the reader can figure out what is going on by page 50.
I will not be reading the 3rd in the series.
