A superb addition to the Stony Man series,
By Rider Boy (Regina, Alberta, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Deadly Payload (Stony Man) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book, which was penned by author Doug Wojtowicz, is perhaps the best of the dozen or so Stony Man books I've read yet. The plot is completely believable, the action fast paced, and the characters are well-developed. It even has a romantic subplot that adds to the plot and seems believable, rather than being distracting and superflous, as they usually are. Excellent work, Mr. Wojtowicz.

Stony Man Deadly Payload,
This review is from: Deadly Payload (Stony Man) (Mass Market Paperback)
Stony Man #93 Feb 2008 Douglas Wojtowicz. A powerful U.S. based consortium has begun a full-scale assault to take over the world. Attacking on multiple fronts, this secret cadre has enough high-tech weaponry to push nations to an apocalyptic standoff - and now China, Russia, and the Middle East are poised to unleash swift, savage and bloody nuclear retaliations. Stony Man teams are spread thin, racing to stop the unthinkable as the world it pushed over the edge of reason, and an unseen, perhaps unstoppable, enemy brings the planet seconds closer to flash point. This was a pretty good book with lots of different plots going on, from Carl Lyons romantic entanglement to Jack Grimaldi's pairing up with Mack Bolan on the ground. Predators play a big part in the plot.
