About the Author

Jon Batson has been writing and singing story songs for more than 35 years with the belief that a song is a three-minute-movie. His songs have taken him many times across the nation and around the world. He has had five complete musicals produced in Hollywood and has had music on television, including Murder She Wrote, The Tonight Show and Midnight Special. He is a long time member of ASCAP both as a publisher and songwriter. Along the way Jon has written articles for several songwriter publications and organizations. 5.0 out of 5 stars Oh so relevant pulp fiction, June 27, 2011
Jon Batson writes novels like he writes songs! He's prolific and topical, and has a very relevant message while entertaining immensely. "Deadly Research" is such a book. His whole series of books are like Pulp Fiction, with a very important, relevant-to-today message. If you like suspense, intrigue, bold heroes and heroines and a quick read, you'll like this one.
