Liked it, wished it could have been longer, October 8, 2006
This review is from: Deadly Submission (Paperback)
Overall I liked this story and really liked the fierce alpha werewolf Ivan and the way he treated Rickelle and felt about her. I really wanted the story to be longer because it did leave me with some unanswered questions like what was the signifigance of the metal tusks that Ivan and his kind all wore? Did anyone ever really understand why he killed his first mate? How did RIcky come to be one of the last of that type? (You'll know what I mean if you read the book). ALso, everyone kept looking at and talking about the mark on the back of her neck yet she never seemed interested enough to try to take a look at it or ask what they were talking about. There are a few other things that could have been answered with a longer story and I would have liked more in-depth conversation between Ricky and Ivan but writing a book is hard and overall I did enjoy the story and will put the book on my keeper shelf just because I liked Ivan.

i am furious, October 12, 2007
This review is from: Deadly Submission (Paperback)
and I will tell you why I am furious. I paid the same price for this book as I would any other erotica book and this was NOT an erotica book. the sex was beyond mundane and the story line was lame.
he was dominate and she was submissive. how do we know.. well because she said he was dominate and she was submissive. that was it. literally that was it.
on top of that... all through the book the writer mentioned all of these things that could, would, might, happen that ultimately never did. If it's not going to happen, why mention it. there was no and i repeat NO detail in this book.
What was the deal with Angel? What was the deal with Roman? The Betas? the useless added face piercings?
This book cost too much money to be this lame. When you see a book that is no longer offered by amazon but rather by other sellers.... pass it up.
it's a waste of your money and time.

Deadly Submission, February 29, 2008
This review is from: Deadly Submission (Paperback)
Stepping out onto her porch one evening, Ricky hears an animal whimpering. As she searches for the animal, she is seized from behind, drugged and taken away in a car. Slipping in and out of consciousness, Ricky finds herself traveling far away from her home. Upon reaching her destination, Ricky discovers that she has been sold to a pack. The rules of her new life are vastly different than those of the real world.
Ivan and Roman are the head Alphas of the pack. And even though she is told to remain distant and subservient to Ivan, she finds herself attracted to him. The attraction is mutual. Over time Ricky becomes accustomed to her new life, although she misses her son and family immensely. With the conflicts and overwhelming emotions facing Ricky and
Ivan, the two are faced with seemingly insurmountable problems. Can their
relationship withstand their differences as well as the dangers of pack life?
I found myself lost in the intensity of Deadly Submission. The utter dominance of the Alphas was both sexy and scary. The concept of being kidnapped then considered property to be used, traded or owned is frightening. But the way in which Ricky's plight was described in the story, was almost romantic. I was fascinated with this tale.
The ending leaves questions unanswered about how Ivan and Ricky can make it work, but to me it felt complete. I find Deadly Submission to be a really unique and very interesting story. It is hot, sexy, scary, romantic, and very intense! I really enjoyed it!
