From Library Journal
Washington, DC, radio personality Gloria Berk (Love Songs for the Dead) uses her great ratings to snag entertaining interview subjects, while friend Renata sells ads for the same station. They both become involved in the machinations of Ray Velasco, a charismatic agitator for Latino power whose political agenda and womanizing antagonize many including his wife. Despite already having a boyfriend, Gloria nearly falls for Ray and does succumb to his handsome son while attempting to find Renata's missing lover who just happens to be Ray's son-in-law. All of this results in an enticing, gurgling stream of action, sex, deception, and violence. Recommended for all collections.
