When I first saw this movie I didn't realize it was a true story. I actually couldn't believe it was true...it's a fantastic film and Josie Bissett is excellent.

Even as a mother of multiple adult children, Peggy Lipton is dreamy looking. Gerald McRaney is entertaining right off the bat as a GOAT molesting-seducing small town Plain Jane played by Josie Bissett wearing shirts that make her shoulders look just a touch too broad. This is an above average Lifetime movie possibly because it was inspired by true events. January Jones did a better wasted youth performance in Swedish Auto but both she and Josie Bissett do an actor's idea of a humble girl's lip receding Aw Gosh smile. Basically, Josie Bissett comes across as more confident than her character should be. But Gerald McRaney putting his hands on Josie Bissett's any part of her never stops being icky. So this movie is good for some giggles. Despite the cast, this movie doesn't compare to Ann Rule's And Never Let Her Go.

I had to set through this horible predictable piece of garbage today at work because some one was watching it. Any time you see Gerald McRainy in a movie or TV show--you are gauranteed that you are going to be bored out of your mind. I love Peggy Lipton and it's a shame that this good actor would be in a movie with A Simon....why does this kind of predictable tripe appeal to lifetime viewers? If you like this kind of a movie you need to get a life!
