Collecting: Deadpool #45-49, #49.1 (aka Deadpool the Musical)

Bonus: Variant Cover Gallery, Evil Deadpool Character Sketches, Sketch Gallery

Deadpool's healing factor has kept him alive through many scrapes with many enemies. However, throughout these fights bits of Deadpool have been hacked, cut, chopped, sawed, and severed. The various bits of Deadpool mash themselves together to create "Evil Deadpool": a copy of Wade who is a manifestation of the doubt and self-loathing that lives in Deadpool's head. Evil Deadpool is on a mission to make Wade realize how much he is loathed by ordinary citizens. Fans of Deadpool know that the terrible price of great power is a bit of madness, and these issues manifest that madness in a corporeal Evil Deadpool who mucks with Wade's life.

With his favorite Chimichanga stand in ashes and his reputation on the line, Wade is finally confronted with mortality he has sought through so many episodes. Daniel Way is probably the only writer out there who can incorporate a suicide attempt and attempted child-homicide into a rollicking fun doppelganger (yes, Wade it is a word) plot.

Daniel Way is also a pretty funny mock-lyricist. Deadpool the Musical is designed to recap the series to allow new readers to get into the series (so this is a great graphic novel for readers looking to start before the movie and video game come out). If you know the songs, its pretty funny. If you don't know the tunes, there is a good video on YouTube by editor Jordan White and writer Daniel Way.

I was very happy with everything. It arrived on time, the condition was incredible, and even the content itself lived up to my expectations. The musical itself made it even better, check it out for yourself.

The story picks up immediately after the events of institutionalized and start off pretty crazy, with Deadpool tying to get back to america safely and the evil Deadpool doing the same thing the exact opposite. After they both get back it gets crazy in a good way with Evil Deadpool doing everything to be evil and Deadpool trying to stop him in true Deadpool insane fashion. The stories fun and entertaining, but i felt captain america and the interpole agent didn't really contribute to the story and would have ben better off left out, and the ending is very anticlimactic but makes you want to know what happens next. The last few pages are a weird recap of the series so far in a Deadpool musical, its very unnecessary and kind of boring and i found myself just skimming it to see if there was any new info (nope). All in all a good story for Deadpool fans that i highly recommend picking up

Deadpool Volume 10: Evil Deadpool.
I returned the product -- with the consent of my nephew for whom it was a Christmas gift -- because I paid $45 for it while it bore the publisher's retail price of $19.99, a disparity not disclosed in the online description. In addition, the book was slim on content. Neither I nor my nephew felt that this was fair advertising or a good value for the money. While I appreciate the prompt response from my inquiry to Rupp's World and understand its justification for the price disparity, I feel that such information should have been included in the product description.

Deadpool has left body parts all over the world. Somehow these parts were put into a Frakenstein type Deadpool, but he's evil. He is doing very violent crazy things making everyone hate Deadpool even more. Deadpool can't have that so he goes after him. Trouble there is evil Deadpool knows everything the real Deadpool does. He is always a step ahead and just as crazy. Captain America even steps in to stop Deadpool, but doesn't believe there is evil clone. A very good battle between everyone even people from England and all NY cops and such. After this battle we get to see a Deadpool musical of his life and adventures.
