I bought this book for a book report for my Deaf History and Education class. I thought it was an interesting read, but it did have a slow start. I had just finished reading Crying Hands and was bummed to have an excerpt from Crying Hands in this book ( I wanted other views). Too bad in high school or college classes this topic is not discussed. You only ever hear about the Jewish people murdered - teachers tend to leave out the other groups.
