4.0 out of 5 stars Great Family Game
My son and I watched this show and I thought the game would be fun to play. My family gets a kick out of it and plays together and individually. You can play 1 - 4 players which is nice, and you rotate the top part to reflect whose turn it is. The only downside is that the messages scroll across the screen between picks, rounds, at the beginning of rounds, and before...

The game will click off if you press the buttons a little too hard. Once that happens everything in the current game is lost and one must use a pointed object to reset the game from the back. It is hard to read the display to determine what numbers are still available.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Family Game, January 1, 2007

You can play 1 - 4 players which is nice, and you rotate the top part to reflect whose turn it is. The only downside is that the messages scroll across the screen between picks, rounds, at the beginning of rounds, and before the last suitcase is revealed. In order to skip over it you can press a button but it is still pretty annoying sometimes. I like the fact that you can turn off the sound due to the fact it is pretty loud. It is fun to play though.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lynn - Romance Readers Profile, January 3, 2007

This is a great product and my family and I had a wonderful time playing it. However, I think that the product would be better if the selection screen had backlights so that you can see what suitcase selections you have left and what the bank is offering.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very cheap plastic game, December 24, 2008

The game didn't work when we received it and calling customer support did get us a new one. It's all plastic, really easy to break. There's a switch that counts clicks when you turn the board. Some chip in there keeps track and our 'chip' was bad according to customer support. If your kids will use it for one or two times, then you should be fine. We got a replacement and it worked for a day.

I bought this game for my Father, who had a severe stroke last year - he is unable to use his right side or talk, but he likes playing this game. He loves the TV show of Deal or No Deal and this just makes it more accessible for him anytime of the day. My kids also like playing it.

We enjoy playing this game with the kids, but the display is poor quality; not only the read-out display but also the lights on the sides showing what cases are left. Some do not light up, even though they are still available, so you can't really tell which cases are left by looking at them. The read-out display is also slow to calculate and to display the scrolling text, plus it is hard to see as it is not back-lit. I really don't see it being worth much more than around $15 or so.

4.0 out of 5 stars deal!, December 29, 2007
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:4.0 out of 5 stars

My son got this gift from my daughter for Christmas and I'm sure she didn't pay nearly $30 (probably more like $20). With that said, this is a fun game. My kids like the TV show and this game gives them a chance to play. At first the temptation is to "go for it all" since you aren't playing for real money. After that wears off, the real fun of the game is making a better deal than your opponents. Up to four people can play at a time (with the players' turns ending after each round). Once a player makes a deal, s/he can continue to play until eveyone has made a deal (this allows them to see what would have happened, but they are "stuck" with their original deal). After everyone makes a deal, the game discloses what was in each case and what each player sold it for and who made the best deal.

Cons: The sound can only be turned off at the beginning of a game (and it can be pretty annoying to others who aren't playing). And as someone else metioned, backlighting on the screen would be very helpful.

1.0 out of 5 stars This game wouldn't let me win!, August 14, 2011

I was at a friends house and started to play this game, they eliminated the million dollar case except me. I chose it when it was my time to play and I always chose the " No deal" option. Seemed to work fine the whole time except when the only 2 cases left were the 750k case and my 1 million dollar case. then somehow it was non responsive, I tried everything to make it work but after 20 minutes of trying I got bored and took the deal to see if it was still working. What a surprise... It did. What a scam I wouldn't want to buy this game for myself

I bought this as a X-mas present and the whole family had a ball playing it. The age range was 4-74. We had such a good time. It was fun to play on the long car ride home.

Had I known the stupid buttons were without lights and when you had most of the cases picked you had to have a photographic memory, I wouldn't have bought it. I guess the inventor thought you should know what 20 some cases you've already picked. Seriously though; the TV show would have bombed with a series of guesses and misses in picking remaining cases....as this game makes you do.
