Amazing Album,
This review is from: Deal Or No Deal [Explicit] (MP3 Download)
I truly wasn't expecting such a great effort. I saw your mixtape Burn After Rolling so many times until I decided to look you up and see what you were about. I can tell you really put yourself in Deal or No Dead. From start to finish I give it an A+. You are very clear and precise in your delivery. I wasn't expecting you to be so young because on records you carry yourself like a veteran in the rap game. I will promote you to anyone with ears because we are tired of the garbage being given to us from the record labels. My favorite tracks are:
Chewy Goodbye Hit tha Flo Moola & the Guap Studio Lovin Superstar Take Away This Plane Who I Am Young Boy Talk I haven't heard an album(period)that was this well put together in such a long time. I hope much success comes to you because you really deserve it. Keep putting out this good music.

you gotta like that gangsta sound to fully appreciate this album, but if you do your in good shape. it shows good ability and diversity with lyrical content and some sick beats to nod to. this is one of those albums that you can listen to without jumping tracks. i can appreciate some auto-tuning; in the right music it flies, and this seems to fit that criteria.

Best rapper out there,

I've been following Wiz since around the time that "Damn Thing" and "Pittsburgh Sound" came out. Since then he has grown to become my favorite rapper and I feel like his upside is just about limitless. If you start at the beginning and listen to all of his mixtapes and albums up until Deal Or No Deal, I really feel like you can hear and understand his growth as an artist. I've been anticipating Deal Or No Deal for a while, especially after hearing Burn After Rolling (probably could be a regular album itself) and the leak of the single "This Plane". I bought Deal Or No Deal the morning it released and can proudly say this is the first album in years that I've felt comfortable and happy spending money on.
If you're a fan of real music, don't even hesitate to buy this album. "This Plane" is probably one of my favorite songs of all time, from any artist. And the rest of the album isn't far behind either!

Breaking into the mainstream of things...,
By Mike (Michigan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Deal Or No Deal (Audio CD)
I first heard of Wiz Khalifa earlier this summer when I heard his hits "Say Yeah" and "Make It Hot"
Intrigued to hear more, I downloaded his "Flight School" mixtape and was very much impressed. His production is top notch, and he has a very unique sound. From here I downloaded his "Prince of the City 2" and "Star Power" mixtapes and have been a huge fan ever since. Since then he has released 2 mixtapes, "How Fly" (a collaboration effort with Curren$y) and finally, "Burn After Rolling" If you have not heard his mixtapes, I would recommend them all, as they all feature many songs that are of CD quality. This album features 5 re-mastered songs from his mixtapes, to which many fans have been stubborn over. I personally like the additions of all these songs, as they display the growth and maturity that Wiz has shown as he's been on his journey to making it in the rap industry. The album features top notch production all around. I just can't seem to get enough of it. My favorite songs are... 1. Chewy 2. Goodbye 3. This Plane 4. Take Away 5. Who I Am 6. Friendly 7. Superstar That's about half of the album, and the rest of the songs are all good too, the above ones are just my personal favorites. If you have been looking for something new and refreshing to add to your library, I fully support the addition of this album as well as his mixtapes to your collection. You will NOT be disappointed.

Who is this guy??? lol. Drake tweeted that he was listening to Wiz Khalifa's "Never Been" like two months ago, so I was interested as to who this guy was. I didn't pay much attention, b/c I've been occupied with Recovery and Thank Me Later for the past two months. All I can say is WOW, I can't believe I slept on wiz. I listened to the snippets(which don't entirely do the songs justice), then purchased the album. The production is top notch(I would honestly buy the album even if it were all instrumentals). Reminds me of Kid Cudi's Man on the Moon album executive produced by Kanye West. "Deal or No Deal" will definitely zone you out. Wiz Kalifa's lyrics and content mesh perfectly with these beats. I can play through the entire album without skipping.
Also, go download his free mixtape, "Kush and Orange Juice" (it's just as good, if not better and has been getting rave reviews and it's 100% free).I repeat, DO NOT SLEEP on the kid from pittsburg. I'm like 10 months late on "Deal or no Deal" and 5 months late on "Kush and Orange Juice." 5.99 was well worth the purchase(mp3 download). Pittsburg is officially on the map with this one.

I first started listening to Wiz when he dropped Flight School, since then he just became one of the artist I follow up with. The features on this album include Josh Everette, Curren$y, Lavish & L.C. with production being some of the best I've heard in a while. I can honestly say I pop this CD in and listen until the end. Also look for Curren$y - Pilot Talk, that's a great album as well.

I've been on Amazon looking for a good album to buy, after reviewing samples of several main stream artists(which were all garbage) I came across wiz khalifa's album. After listening to several samples, it had me bumping my head. Great album, Highly recommened, will not disappoint.

Been following Wiz for over a year now. He is not a spectacular lyricist - he won't shred a beat to pieces. Wiz brings out of the world swagger to spice up his lyrics. Punchline after punchline.
