If you or your loved ones have food allergies..Buy this book. You won't be dissapointed. I was not. I use it as a reference in food trials and ingredient reading. It won't stay on the shelf. This is a book you can use over and over again.

The rendition would be very helpful for any person attempting to deal
with internal inflammation deriving from foods and food allergies. For instance, there may be a chronic immune response to lactose i.e. lactose intolerance. Symptoms may include digestive diarrhea, constipation, bloat and indigestion. Permeability of the epithelium (gut) may lead to inflammation, combined allergies, reactions after exercise - all due to eating the forbidden foods. Anaphylactic reactions may occur in response to eating peanuts, cow milk, egg, wheat with burning, itch, red skin and vomiting symptomatology. MSG additives may tighten the face, jaw and chest. The book is helpful in matching the unwelcome symptoms to the foods which cause the symptoms to occur. Only when this has been done, is it possible to eliminate certain types of chronic pain related to foods that the body rejects.

This book provide more information than my allergist bothered to tell me. I highly recommend to read it before you go to your doctor, even if you are just being tested for pollen, etc. I wish I would have found it before all the time and money spent at this particular doctor.

I purchased this book in an attempt to figure-out the cause of some of my symptoms. I didn't find it helpful. The book basically tells you how to cut-out common allergy-causing foods in a very verbose manner. I can find the same information easily on the internet. It also reads almost like a textbook; I found this very unappealing but it may be helpful for some. It did not touch on my symptoms at all (stiff/swollen joints in fingers- I'm only 23.)
However, it did reach me quickly and in good condition.

This book is very technical which is OK for me but not necessarily for everyone. I'm not through with it yet, but expect to get my desired information. It's very detailed which is what I like.....real explanations that make sense to me.

This book was an interesting read. Had some good theories/facts about chronic allergies. Worth a read if you want to try and pin point what could be going on. I'm interested in these types of books as my 10 year old has several of the more unusual allergies and intolerances.Fast delivery and great price.
