Good idea but poorly written,
By Prince Sledge (New Jersey) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dealing with Risk: Why the Public and the Experts Disagree on Environmental Issues (Paperback)
Margolis presents an interesting thesis of why experts and the public at large often disagree, focusing on often unconscious cognitive effects that cloud rational judgment. Unfortunately, the writing is extremely wordy and laden with often unnecessary examples. As such, the actual valuable analysis is often obscured by unnecessary filler, and it is difficult to sift out the truly important parts of this book.
