I've never ordered an instrument online before so I was a bit nervous that it would be junk. I was happy to get it and find that it is a pretty nice guitar. The EQ isn't much but I not too worried about that anyway 'cause I got it to play acousticly. It has a really nice sound and I can't believe how loud it is even with the b string. Good Bass and is worth the money. I'm Happy with it.

This bass is great. I had a bit of trouble at first with the neck, and turning the truss rod didn't fix it. I called Dean and told them this and they said I should probably return it. I put in a return request with Amazon and by morning, the dysfunctional bass was gone and it's replacement was in the mail. Exceptionally fast service. I received the new bass a few days later, and it is spectacular. I have played an electric bass for 4 years, but I needed something unplugged to jam around camp fires. This instrument is perfect for that. It is beautiful, has a deep booming sound and it works very well plugged in as well. Overall a great buy, especially for the money.

Absolutely horrible. Buzzes terribly on every fret of every string. It's a beautiful guitar but the sound is awful. Definitely want my money back. Don't waste your time

Wow. That is all I have to say. I received the bass a few days ahead of what Amazon said it would be delivered. Great tone, nice strings, very smooth. I have no idea what a few of the other people were complaining about. Sure, the neck could stand to be straightened a little, but the tool is included with the bass. Easy fix. Overall, a really great bass for everyone!

I EXPECTED LOUDER ACOUSTIC SOUND FROM SUCH A LARGE BODY. THE NECK WAS NOT ADJUSTED AT THE FACTORY AND THE STRINGS WERE BUZZING AGAINST THE FRETS. I WAS ABLE TO CORRECT THIS BY ADJUSTING THE TRUSS ROD IN THE NECK BUT THERE IS STILL SOME MINOR BUZZING. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE BY THE MANUFACTURER. OVERALL QUALITY IS GOOD FOR THIS PRICE RANGE.

hey this thing is crazy cheap and it plays pretty well. I like the semigloss finish too. Get the Dean case. thats a great deal and tough too

i have had this guitar for 3 days, alot of buzzin, try ta adjust it, but it still buzzes, it's good for jammin, but wouldn't use it for recordin right away, because it buzzes to much, think it needs a little fret filein. the body is huge, ya would think it would be louder, with such a large body, but for 200 dollars what can ya expect, once i get use ta playin it, i'm pretty sure it will be ok

I bought one of these several years ago and paid almost twice what they are being advertised for here. It has been an incredible value. So many people buy guitars online from discount retailers, then complain because they don't play right out of the box like shop adjusted instruments. Is that really a big surprise? Gimme a break, folks! Why do you think the brick & mortar stores charge a bit more? Buy this bass at the bargain price offered here. And if it isn't adjusted properly, simply walk it into your local guitar shop, wish them a Merry Christmas, and get the neck adjusted and frets dressed to eliminate any buzz and rattle. Most shops will spend 1/2 hour on that for under $40.

The guitar was package very badly with little to no cushion or protection. The guitar came in a smaller box inside a rather pointless large box. The guitar was just sliding around inside. The body of the guitar was CRACKED when I opened it and I had to pay $44! to return it for a new one. Amazon.com is only covering 10 dollars of the shipment. I am very unhappy with the situation. The guitar itself did not seem very loud for how large the body is but it was cracked so hopefully the new one sounds better.

I recently purchased this bass and consider it my best purchase to date. I recieved it over night and was and am very pleased with the playabillity, deep tones and perfect action. The Intonation is bang on and I have played at 3 get togethers and recieved alot of compliments from both amature and 40 plus year veterans of the stage.
