I had this bass since less than a year. It's very good bass for it's price. The stock strings are not bad at all, but I discover the full potential of this bass is when I replaced the strings with cirrus thermal fused strings,it sounded buttery and punchy and well balance with highs and lows. It even has a bit sound characteristics of the peavey cirrus bass, schecter extreme omen and schecter riot with the knob settings. Great tone - great bass!
