Great for a 5-string!,

I use these on my (now totally passive) Ibanez BTB455. The B is tight and defined, and all of the tapered strings (B, E, A, D) sustain longer than non-tapered strings I have used. Maximum sustain adds to my playing style. I'm having trouble convincing myself to go back to non-tapered strings, even Elixirs with a tapered B. As far as stainless steel strings go, this set (#2694 MC) has exceeded my expectations. Well done DMS!
