Bought this axe about two and a half years ago. What a joy!!!! I have Rics and this one plays better than the others that I have. It is a bit neck heavy, but the ease of playing and the sound you get makes up for that ten fold!!! I have the Trans Amber color and put different volume and tone knobs on for dress up. If you are looking for a great 12 string and a reasonable cost, this is the only way to go.

This guitar is awesome.It is the guality of a far more expensive instrument.
Highly reccomend this to anyone who is looking for a 12 string.

I purchased the Dean Boca 12 string guitar and it was as advertised! I obtained the autumn amber look as it won't get confused with other guitars that I have. Either choice of guitar color would have been nice however. This guitar is an inexpensive 12 string which arrived with only one blemish and that concerned the box it was in as the interior Dean box had a gash in it which suggested that the box was penetrated and thus the guitar may have been damaged(which it wasn't!) Over all, I bought the guitar for the chime and jangle I hope to get that sounds like the more expensive guitars it was intended to mimic! As with all these types of guitars, it needed tuning!

I paid $299 for this guitar. In case you're wondering it is made in Korea. This is my first 12 string and I didn't want to spend a lot. I was pleasantly surprised, I got a guatar that looks beautifull and plays great! The action is excellent, the neck is dead straight. The body looks like an ES-335 but the size is more like a Les Paul but much lighter. I was surprised at how easy it was to play, being a 12 string, I thought it might take a little getting used to. The only drawback (very minor) the tune-O-matic has only 6 saddles so you can't perfectly intone every string, that being said, whatever difference in the sound there may be, I couldn't tell. If you want to add an electric 12 string to your collection, this is a great candidate!!
