Dean's Rag Books,
By
This review is from: Dean's Rag Books & Rag Dolls: The Products of a Famous British Publisher and Toymaker (Hardcover)
A large book (quarto) with many, many detailed coloured photographs on good quality paper. Includes, extensive, specific bibliographical information. I was only interested in the Rag Book section and so have hesitated to purchase this book, but it's worth it for the approximately 150 pages on Dean's Rag Books to 1939 (and the toy pages are certainly fun to look though, too). The book comes with what looks like a very useful doll database CD of almost 2500 records and multiple fields and view. I hope later editions include a rag book database as well and that it is available for purchase separately. An excellent and interesting reference. Well worth the price. SHP
