Jessica write to Barbie because she is having trouble adjusting to the birth of her baby sister. Barbie writes back to her and tells her that her sister Stacie dealt with the same kind of adjustment when Kelly was born. In a kind, sensitive manner Barbie proceeds to relate the story of how jealous Stacie was at first, and how she felt that no one had any time for her anymore. Barbie then relates how she made a point of letting Stacie know that not only was she very important and special, but she now had a very important new role--that of big sister. Stacie finally comes to accept and enjoy her new role--to the point of wanting to help care for baby Kelly.
