From School Library Journal
Grade 5-7 ``Dr. Dynamite'' is, in real life, Dr. Harvey R. Greenberg, a psychiatrist who answers letters from readers in a monthly column in Dynamite magazinesort of a ``Dear Abby'' for preteens. Topics covered here include family, school, divorce, and dying. Dr. Greenberg gives sensible, down-to-earth advice, such as telling ``Desperate,'' who is ``bored,'' that she must put more of herself into life to get more back. That children can discover that other people have the same problems that they do, and that there are solutions, is the beauty of this book. Joyce Whitson, Manhattan Senior High School, Kans.
