I then skimmed though it and found all this new age and middle-eastern promotion. She talks a lot about strange mythic creatures and gods. Very disappointing. The index in the back has only one catholic book that she takes information from "julian of norwich". You can just get her book instead of this one. Then she has listed at least 20 or so others like the inner rainbow, the wizard's gate, descent to the goddess, the gnostic book of hours, goddess in every woman, celebrate mid-life: jungian archetypes...,the divine feminine from black goddess...king, warrior, magician, lover...,the crone that are clearly not catholic and certainly not christ centered.

I love Joyce Rupp's books. They lead me to a deeper sense of self. This one encouraged me to draw, which I haven't done since high school. I have really surprised myself.Published 6 months ago by churchlady
