It seems that lately all an aspiring country-western star needs is a handsome face, a cowboy hat, and someone else to write his material. Red Steagall is the real thing, and his songs and poetry are about integrity, honesty and hard work. Songs about irresponsibility are nowhere to be found on this album. This was my first Red Steagall album, and I was stunned after my first listen to it! He's a living legend.

What a great collection of music! Cowboy music at it's best. Red Steagall sings a song and tells a story. His music reflects honor, duty and the type of things that youth of today should capitalize on and live by. I only wish that more "so-called" country artists would follow his steps in the music that they make. EJ

Red Steagall continues with his sincerity and honesty.He is a credit not only to himself and his profession,but to this great country he sings about.This album lives up to all of my expectations of a Red Steagall production.

Red continues to be the foremost poet, song writer and singer of songs that tell of our western heritage, values and life. He makes you feel like you are there with him.

EASY COWBOY LISTENING, AN EXCELLENT ALBUM WITH WHICH TO KICK BACK, SOAK UP A COLD ONE, AND DREAM OF OLD TIMES ON THE PRAIRIE.

Red Steagall has a way of saying the things we wish we could say. It's difficult to pick a favorite of the ten tracks on this CD but I think mine is called "The Blue Roan And The Kid". What sets it apart is the wisdom shown by the narrator. Many of us have forgotten that wisdom comes with age and experience. It's refreshing to encounter it here.

You can't put on a hat and wear expensive boots and sing western music if you haven't lived it!!!Real cowboy music from Red Steagll and the Bunkhouse Boys. Cowboy poetry with some of the best word of wisdom I've ever heard, spelled out in cowboy lingo that fits all walks of life.Experience the difference between "western and Country music". You owe it to yourself if your a true western fan to get this album
