I cannot believe my best friend found this on CD. I have had it on tape for so long and played it so much that the words are all rubbed off. I am not eloquent in describing music but this cd is a must have. I have seen this band (when they were still together) twice at small gigs in LA. It rocks. It has unique love songs. It just is powerful, fun, amazing music!

All I can say is that it's very sad that this cd is not in every Rocker's collection. I originally came across Dear Mr. President on cassette in a pawn shop back in 1989 and baught it for $1.00. I'd never heard of this band, but for the price, I couldn't lose.
From the moment I pushed play, I loved this band! Problem was, I then wanted it on CD, but couldn't find it anywhere. No one had heard of them!
Now, thanks to today's technology, I got it here at Amazon.com, and it's one of my favorite CD's in my HUGE collection.

I originally bought this on tape and absolutely loved it. I took a chance not knowing who they were and the song titles are what initially caught my attention. Has great songs that convey much emotion and feeling. I now own it on LP and it never ceases to amaze me with its timelessness. A definite rare and unheard of gem! I hope that the price for the CD goes down in the future because I've gotta have it.
