Great Find,
By A Customer
This review is from: Dear S.O.S.:30 Years of Recipe Requests to the Los Angeles Times (Hardcover)
This book is a great find, with a well balanced number of different types of recipes. You will find a little bit of everything in here. I was amazed to see the quantity of really good recipes. Many times in collections you find a lot of misses, not in this one.

What fun to browse through these recipes. I think the best is the Northwood Inn's Red Cabbage salad.

For years I followed Rose Dosti's Culinary SOS article in the LA Times. I however, lived in Tacoma. We moved to southern California four years ago and I internet searched all her archived articles available from the LA Times. I found all her books on Amazon and just had to have them. If I had a way to meet this woman I would have, but as I understand, she sadly passed away. This is only one of her Culinary SOS books. I recommend them all and don't hesitate to do so. You won't be disappointed.
