Dear Teacher is the fourth book in the series. It covers the fourth year of Jack Sheffield's job as head teacher in a small village school in Yorkshire, England.

Not only the children in the school, but also the village characters that Mr. Sheffield shares his life with, are hilarious. He writes with such wonderful preciseness and colour, that the whole scene is alive, and playing out in your living room.

You will enjoy all four of these books, and look forward to more.

Like the other books by Mr. Sheffield, this one is true-to-life, and a refreshing read. Don't hesitate to read this one and its series-mates.

Another in the fascinating stories of schools in the Yorkshire Dales. Readers who can remember their school days will readily identify with some of the characters in the book, and fell transported back to their youth again. Interesting and evocative. A must read

The wonderful and lively story of Jack Sheffield's head teacher/master series continues. Couldn't put the book down and when finished, I felt I really missed all the characters in the story.
