5.0 out of 5 stars What a great book!
My 5 year old son lost his 1st tooth. When we went to look for Tooth Fairy books he didn't like all the "fairies". He wouldn't even consider this book because it was pink. I started reading it and loved it. When I read it to him at home he LOVED it! He got so excited to open the envelopes in the book. He had me play the riddler that came with over and over again...

2.0 out of 5 stars For Tooth Fairies w/Big Bank Accounts/Or, How I Learned to Love Pocket Change
Charming, but then I realized that it only holds appeal for the first visit from the Tooth Fairy. I wasn't sure what to do- give the book to my kid the very first time she places a tooth under her pillow, or leave the book itself under her pillow as her reward. (I ended up leaving the book under the pillow.) Cute, but too much money to put out for a stinkin' tooth. Just...

His eyes lit up when he found the gold fairy coin. It is one of his most requested storytime books. Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Book for Little Girls, January 18, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Dear Tooth Fairy (Hardcover)
What a delightful book! The story is sweet (ver appropriate for ages 4-8). The story includes little notes, maps, pamphlets, etc. from the tooth fairy! My daughter reads it over and over. The illustrations are wonderful - a very magical, fairy-like theme!

5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic book for little girls!, September 13, 2005
This review is from: Dear Tooth Fairy (Hardcover)
This is a wonderful book - my four-yr old (now five) loved it and reads it all the time. The little letters & the "riddler" are just delightful! It is about a little girl named Holly who is reluctant to part with her first lost tooth. She corresponds back and forth with the Tooth Fairy several times until she finally decides to leave the tooth under her pillow & receives a special coin - included in one of the book's envelopes - in return.

5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely a great book, May 20, 2007
This review is from: Dear Tooth Fairy (Hardcover)
We bought this book for our daughter and neice when they lost their first tooth and had so much fun reading it. Our daughter LOVED it and even wrote a letter to the tooth fairy after reading this book. It is a great interactive book and answers questions that we never even thought of. I highly recommend getting this book!!

My daughter is 6 and 1/2 and she's quite mad about the fairies! She loved this book and all of the little letters inside were enchanting!! A MUST for any Mum whose little one loves fairies!

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply the Best Tooth Fairy Book, March 15, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Dear Tooth Fairy (Hardcover)
With my daughter approaching the tooth-losing stage, I've been reading a lot of books on this theme lately. It's surprising how disappointing they've been. This book, however, is the exception. It contains fun letter-driven dialogue between a little girl who is already 6 and does not yet have a wobbly tooth (and is quite worried about this fact), and words of encouragement from the tooth fairy assuring her that her name does appear on her list, but that you can't hurry wobbly teeth. Fun and upbeat, this book is sure to make you and your child smile. Lovely, bright illustrations too. Kudos to the author and the illustrator!

4.0 out of 5 stars A fun 'keepsake' book, December 12, 2008
This review is from: Dear Tooth Fairy (Hardcover)
I bought an extra copy of this book for my nephew. Only drawback to it is that it's written from the standpoint of a girl and it's pink! It's well worth it for the letters that are included in the book and the plastic 'fairy coin'. My kids still love to read it and do the paper 'cootie catcher' inside. The book does introduce the concept of other fairies, which I don't like. Seems to tend toward the mystical side of things and I'm a Christian. However, it gave me the opportunity to share my beliefs with my kids about such things. Great illustrations and a fun book overall!

We bought this book for my daughter when she was five or six and she adored it. It is a delightfully written book about a series of letters written by a girl who is reluctant to give up her tooth and the responses from the tooth fairy. The book is funny, charming and beautifully illustrated. It comes with little tiny letters written by the tooth fairy. My daugher is seven now and she still loves reading it.
