more than just a panty fest,

This review is from: DearS, Vol. 3 (Paperback)
DearS is more than just another titillating, formulaic poke at male libido -it's a fascinating and dare i say poignant story. Many will love this. this is kind of thing that will disappear and you'll frantically search for later. oh yeah, the anime is not really as cool as the manga, though it's O. K.

This review is from: DearS, Vol. 3 (Paperback)
This volume introduces new conflinct into Ren and Takeya's lives. There's Takeya's rambuctios and possessive younger sister, parts of Miu's past revealed, a new man grasping for Ren's affections, and another Dears out to find Ren.If you read the series, keep on going. It gets better. :) More hilarity and awkward teenage moments as Takeya fumbles his way through becoming Ren's "master". My only complaint would be the new Dears featured on the cover doesn't appear until 3/4 through the book, and then for only a few pages. Volume four delves more into her story. |
