Book Description

Silhouette Romance December 1, 1989
Atlanta lawyer Rebecca Hobbs, disappointed in her career, returns to her hometown, small central Georgia county seat, to restore her self-esteem. Almost before she unpacks, she is presented with a challenge--how to tame thirteen-year-old twin boys who are headed for juvenile court if they don't mend their ways. Whether Reverend Frank Andrews, minister and handyman, is a help or a hindrance is a matter of opinion, but Rebecca definitely finds him attractive.

Editorial Reviews

Review

A delightful romance! DEARLY BELOVED was a fun and fast read that tugged at my heartstrings, made me giggle, put a huge smile on my face and an arm around my hubby. 5 Stars!! ~ Buzzy's Review News

Bierce is an author who manages to cross the genres with the ease of a born storyteller. Dearly Beloved" will warm your heart and leave you with a smile." 3-1/2 Stars! ~ The Word Museum

DEARLY BELOVED is a wonderfully warm and zany fast read that not only makes you laugh, but also pulls at your heart's strings. Warm and wonderful characters live between the covers of Ms. Bierce's third release from Hard Shell Word Factory. I live in a small town much like Blakesley Hills and can easily relate to the characters and their warm, small-town homeyness. DEARLY BELOVED is a keeper. ~ Romance Communications, 11/15/99

About the Author

Jane Bierce spent a lot of time on US 129 in central Georgia when she lived in Florida and sent two of her children to college in North Carolina. The charming houses, gardens and farms along the way sparked her imagination. Taking a courthouse from one town, and house and a church from another and a railroad depot from somewhere in between, she created Blakesly Hills for a book first published by Silhouette Romances.

This is Mrs. Bierce's third book to be released by Hard Shell Word Factory. Watch for COLD NIGHT BEAUTY, another Southern story, coming in February 2000. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
