A Little Information About The CD,
By
This review is from: Death Alive (Audio CD)
The other review was good, but I have a little more information about this CD that may make it a little bit more sweet for you to buy. This cd was recorded at a show I saw Death By Stereo at in a little venue called Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA. The show was held as a benefit for Daniel Martin, who was an engineering major in Virgina who went to see Death By Stereo at a venue called Solar Haus. A third story window collapsed and Daniel Martin was killed, and 5 others were injured. Only one week later, Death By Stereo held this benefit show, and all proceeds went to the family. A copy of this cd was given out in every copy of Law of Inertia magazine, Volume 3. There was also a video recording of the concert that has not yet hit the market.

Solid live album,

This review is from: Death Alive (Audio CD)
Death By Stereo is awesome live. This 17 track cd is a great example of Efrem's charisma and the band's cohesiveness. The only downside is the fact that it only features songs from their first 3 cds. Their fourth cd, Death For Life, is their best to date. This cd was recorded in 2003, during their Into the Valley tour. Death Alive features some lesser known songs that are popular live, such as Hippie Holocaust and Dance Party. I have never actually heard Dance Party before, but they must have only played it at a few shows. This cd represents a band that plays for the sheer thrill. They don't do it for money or fame. They do it because they love their fans and they love playing music. Please support this band and buy this cd. There are only 2000 copies floating around, so make sure you pick one up soon. You won't be dissapointed. Death for life!
